The total value of deals signed at the 7th China-Eurasia Expo, held from Sept. 19 to 22 in Urumqi, capital of northwest China’s Xinjiang Autonomous Region, has already reached a record high, according to the organizer. of the event.
More than 960 billion yuan ($138.19 billion) worth of deals have been signed, more than triple that of the last expo held in 2018.
The deals are mainly in power and electricity, oil and chemicals, coal, infrastructure, clothing and textiles, culture and tourism, trade and logistics, and real estate.

The secondary industry accounted for 83.61% of all deals, totaling 809.25 billion yuan. The primary and tertiary sectors represented 2.53% and 13.86% of operations, respectively.
The agreements are mainly in energy and electricity, oil and chemicals, coal, infrastructure, clothing and textiles, culture and tourism, trade and logistics, and real estate.
Held both online and offline, the exhibition focuses on projects with good market prospects, high technology and strong investment demand. It also organizes special investment and trade promotion activities, and is actively building a high-level business platform.
Covering an exhibition area of 40,000 square meters, the expo has established three zones with themes such as investment cooperation and commodity trade.
