The leader of the Russian republic of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadirov, denounced this Sunday a new attack with three drones against the regional capital, Grozny, before ensuring that two devices have been shot down and emphasizing that the event has resulted in no victims.
“Three drones attacked Grozny this morning. Two were shot down by air defense systems,” he stated on his Telegram account, before stating that the third device fell on a building of the Russian Guard Directorate, “no deaths.” or injured”.
“We will respond to any attempt to attack us with more precise and firm bombing,” he said, before emphasizing that Russia has carried out two attacks against targets in Kharkiv in response to the drone firing against Grozny. “About 200 Ukrainian fascists have been destroyed,” he stated, without kyiv having commented on the matter.
In this sense, Kadirov has warned kyiv that the Russian authorities will respond to the attacks against Chechnya with “selective bombings” against “places of concentration of personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.” “The consequences of these bombings will be terrible,” he concluded.
Kadyrov himself confirmed on Thursday that four officers had been “slightly” injured in a drone attack on a Chechen special forces facility in Grozny. “These attempts only reinforce our faith in victory and the desire to quickly confront the enemy,” added the Chechen leader, an ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
