'Cheap' cars: these are the ones that have dropped the most in price in 2023

A recent analysis of the National Association for Sustainable Mobility makes a comparison of the prices of cars in 2022 with respect to those currently registered, in the middle of 2023.

So, if your goal is to buy a vehicle this year, we show you some of the ones that have dropped in price or are cheaper at this time on the market.

Models that drop in price

-Kia Picante: in 2022 it was around 30 million pesos, in 2023 it can be obtained on the market for 27 million.

– Used Renault Duster: in 2022 it was bought for 49 million pesos and in 2023, for 38 million.

– Chevrolet Onyx
: It was achieved at 38 million pesos in 2022 and in 2023 it is at 35 million.

In the case of the used market, the Association reveals that for April there was an increase of 22.18% in sales.

However, hetos car transfer figures for March it registered a drop: it went from 99,843 in 2022 to 80,838 this year.

The new cheapest

The National Association for Sustainable Mobility identified the following as the new cars with the lowest prices on the market:

– Kia Picanto Emotion 1.0L: $54’290,000.

-Renault Kwid Zen: $56’200,000.

Chevrolet Joy hatchback: $64’120,000.

And, precisely, for the new segment, during May, there was a 24% drop in sales compared to the same month in 2022.
