The number of ChatGPT users, OpenAI, in South Korea has increased 30 percent last month, surpassing one million for the first time. This increase in users is due to the growing popularity of the artificial intelligence (AI) “chatbot”, as reported this week by the market data analysis firm. IGAWorks.
IGAWorks data revealed that the ChatGPT mobile application registered 1.27 million users in May, an increase from the 980,000 registered the previous month. This is the first time that ChatGPT’s monthly users have exceeded one million in South Korea.
