Cetes offer more returns to investors

“We continue to expect the demand for Cetes to remain robust, as we anticipate that Banxico’s reference rate will remain unchanged at 11.25% in the second half of the year and that the downward trend in inflation will persist,” said Banorte Estrategia in a report.

How much do the Cetes offer?

According to Banxico, the 28-day Cete was the only one that had a marginal negative movement of 0.01 points this Tuesday, to reach a yield of 11.29%.

The yield rate of the three-month Cete rose to 11.40%, while the 182-day Cete advanced to 11.38%.

The 350-day Cete increased 0.28 points compared to the previous auction, to reach 11.40%, the central bank specifies.

People can invest in Cetes through the Cetes Directo platform with a minimum amount of 100 pesos, it is only necessary to register and have a bank account to make the transfers.
