May 29. () –

Cepsa plans to abandon Torre Foster, which it has occupied as its headquarters for a decade in the Cuatro Torres business area on Madrid’s Paseo de la Castellana, and move in 2027 to a new campus that will be built in the Madrid neighborhood of Arroyo del Fresno , and which will be one of the most sustainable buildings in Madrid, as reported to Europa Press by real estate sources.

In this way, the company, with this decision, which will be definitively adopted in the coming months once some pending requirements are resolved, will group most of its professionals in the capital, more than 2,000, in which it will be its future new corporate headquarters.

The Foster Tower, the company’s current headquarters, is owned by Pontegadea, Amancio Ortega’s investment vehicle, with which the energy company has a rental contract.

According to El Confidencial, the energy company has reached an agreement with Monthisa to occupy the new building that the Montoro family real estate company plans to build in Arroyo del Fresno.

The campus, designed by the Allende Arquitectos studio, will have four facades that will make the most of natural light, as well as a set of terraces, patios and green areas, measuring approximately 7,000 meters that will provide a pleasant and sustainable environment.

HIGHEST STANDARDS OF SUSTAINABILITY, WELL-BEING AND DIGITALIZATION.

Cepsa will thus lease a property built from scratch that meets the highest standards of sustainability, well-being and digitalization in line with the group’s energy transition strategy, ‘Positive Motion’.

The new property, called the Arroyo Building, will have ‘LEED Platinum’ and ‘WELL Gold’ certificates, which guarantee the highest standards of comfort for employees while reducing the environmental impact.

Likewise, it will have a horizontal structure with multiple interior spaces that will promote new ways of working between the different areas. This will reinforce transversal work, and enable more fluid interaction between teams, achieving a greater capacity for innovation and collaboration.

The new headquarters will be located just a few minutes from El Pardo, one of the largest green lungs in the Community of Madrid, where employees will be able to enjoy a natural environment.

In addition, it will have parking for bicycles and the Arroyofresno metro station less than a minute from the office door. The Pitis commuter stop is less than a ten-minute walk away, which will also encourage the use of public transport and reduce our carbon footprint.

Likewise, the so-called Green Cycling Ring, as the cycle route is known with a circular route that surrounds the urban area of Madrid, with a length of almost 65 kilometers, runs just a few meters from our new headquarters.
