King Charles III of England has communicated to the Government his desire to renounce part of the income that theoretically corresponds to him by virtue of the agreement between the Crown and the State, with a view to allocating funds from the operation of a wind farm.
The Crown has confirmed deals for six offshore projects that anticipate annual revenues of £1bn and which, under the current agreement between the Government and the Royal Household, would allow the royal family to make use of these funds.
The Royal House has its particular manager, the Crown State, which redirects the family businesses and from which 25 percent is extracted to cover everything from official commitments to residences. Last year, the grant amounted to 86.3 million pounds.
