Carl Pei confirms that the Nothing Phone (1) will feature a Snapdragon 778G+

Carl Pei has curiously announced via Twitter that the Nothing Phone (1) will feature a Snapdragon chip, specifically the Snapdragon 778G+in the case of a Premium mid-range chip with which the Nothing Phone (1) should have a more than acceptable performance without triggering the sale price of the terminal.

In principle, the Phone (1) is expected to reach the market at a price of between 400 and 500 dollars, with the reservations already planned, so expecting this terminal to arrive with a processor like the Snapdragon 8 was a difficult dream to fulfill, especially considering the price of the terminals that come with that processor.

As we can see in the tweet above these lines, Carl Pei has made use of a meme to refer to the processoralso indicating that it is the most balanced choice for this Smartphone, so in general there is little more to talk about this decision, and we can expect specifications in line with other terminals that make use of this processor.

This processor is based on the Snapdragon 778G, with the same eight cores and other features, but this time we also have wireless charging and reverse charging, features normally reserved for Qualcomm flagships.
