Capcom has announced that it is already working on a new Resident Evil installment, of which it has not given details beyond the fact that its director will be the director of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, the Japanese Koshi Nakanishi.
The developer has released this preview as part of Capcom Next: Summer 2024, an event focused on their upcoming releases and in which he also announced news about Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Gooddess and Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster.
One of the most notable news has been the confirmation that they are already working on a new installment of Resident Evil, a project in which the director of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and co-director of Resident Evil: Revelations, Koshi Nakanishi, is participating.
Without giving further details about the video game – which will presumably be called Resident Evil 9 – not even what its title will be, the Japanese developer has only indicated that It was difficult for him to “know what to do” after the previous game, although now he has “something substantial” in his hands.
On the other hand, the developer has announced the launch of the digital version of Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, developed with the engine RE Engine and the next one will arrive September 19thbefore the physical version.
This action-adventure video game stars Frank West, a photojournalist who travels to Colorado to investigate a mysterious infection that has left hundreds of zombies in its wake, which he has to fight in a shopping mall.
This new installment of the action-adventure series features improvements to the gaming experience, such as graphics and the addition of three-dimensional (3D) audio. It also includes 14 languages for text input and 9 for voice input.
On the other hand, Capcom has shared a trailer of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddessa strategy and action game set in Japanese mythology and which focuses its narrative on the warrior Son, who has the mission of protecting a priestess, Yoshiro.
The firm has made available to players a demo compatible with all the platforms on which it will launch the final version of the game, next July 19th. Specifically, it can be tested on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series and Xbox One.
