Last year exports to the world from countries member of the Andean Community (CAN)that is, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru, added a total of US$163,012 million, which represented a growth of 19.5%, compared to the data registered in 2021.

According to the report published by the General Secretariat of the community, The country that stood out the most in international sales to the world was Colombia, with a total of US$57,243 million and a growth of 38.3%.
Following Ecuador is found with an increase of 24.3% in its international sales, amounting to US$32,658 million. In turn, there is Bolivia with trade to the world for US$13,410 million and an increase of 21.6%.

In this type of trade, the countries that stood out the most were bolivian with increases of 42.1%, Ecuador with 29.2% and Peru with 26.3%. Colombia, for its part, only grew 5.3% in intra-community international sales.
The extra-community exportsthose to the countries of the world excluding CAN members, in the year 2022, totaled US$152,380 million, a figure 19.3% higher than that registered in 2021.
Colombia, under this commercial dynamic, was the member that exported the most, registering an increase of 40.9%. continuous is Ecuador with a growth of 24%, while Bolivia and Peru presented increases of 17.9% and 2.3%, respectively.
In accordance with the statistics prepared by the General Secretariat of the CANIn addition to the raw materials that are traditionally exported from the Andean region to the world, such as crude petroleum oils and copper minerals, there are others such as coffee, plantains, prepared and preserved shrimp and prawns.
