Camera captures suspect stealing delivery truck with worker inside

Surveillance video captured the moment a 29-year-old Washington state man stole an Elephants Deli delivery truck with an employee inside. The delivery truck was parked at a warehouse in Milwaukie, Oregon, in the early hours of the morning when the theft occurred. The employee was in the back of the truck loading deliveries from the warehouse when the suspect got into the driver’s seat and drove away. As the vehicle left the area, the employee grabbed the back of the truck and then jumped, causing the boxes to fall. The suspect has been arrested and now faces multiple charges, including unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, reckless endangerment, attempted eluding, felony hit and run, and unlawful possession of methamphetamine, according to a release from Beaverton Police Department Press.
