The First Vice President and Minister of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, Nadia Calviño, has assured that there are “clear signs” of willingness for constructive dialogue to reach agreements in order to achieve the income pact.

As explained by the head of Economic Affairs, the Government has the will and commitment to do “everything possible” to achieve this income pact that would incorporate “different elements” including the increase in the Interprofessional Minimum Wage (SMI) and the evolution of civil servants’ salaries to deal with escalating inflation and keep the economy and employment strong.
“We are going to intensify the joint work between the Government and social agents in order to achieve a framework that can give confidence to workers, companies, investors and the general public,” he added.
