Call opens for 3,500 scholarships in short courses in areas of collections and advertising

With the purpose of improving the employability of citizens and strengthening the business fabric with suitable human talent, the District Secretariat of Economic Development and the Atenea Agency in conjunction with the ECCI University, launched the first call for the Capital Talent strategy, through which 3,500 100% free scholarships are made available to citizens, to develop short training courses, which allow strengthening work skills in strategic areas such as Service and customer support; collections and financial products and marketing and advertising.

Interested persons may register until July 24, 2024, through the portal: http://sicore.agenciaatenea.gov.co/. There they must create a username and password and complete the requested information.

The courses will be taught and certified by ECCI University. Each course has a total duration of 70 hours distributed as follows: 50 hours of technical training (100% virtual modality) and 20 hours of training in socio-emotional skills (10 virtual hours and 10 hours in person). Likewise, those interested will be able to access an industry certification for the sector related to the knowledge and skills of the training process applied in each course.

Industry certifications are 100% free and add value to the training accredited by people, since more and more companies give greater importance to this type of recognition in their linking processes, which are aligned with the technical training contents. of each course, increasing the employment possibilities of those who train at the University.

Once the technical and socio-emotional training process is completed, People will be able to access this additional certificate, which is issued by an entity accredited by ONAC (National Accreditation Body of Colombia).

In summary, the beneficiary will receive two certifications: training certificate + Industry certificate.

ECCI University will offer courses in 3 areas of technical training. The courses are structured by different levels of training: basic, intermediate and advanced.

Service and customer support

● Basic level: Service and customer service advisor.
● Intermediate level: Information and customer service supervisor.
AREA: Collections and financial products
● Basic level: Credit and portfolio manager.

● Intermediate level: Credit and collections advisor.
● Advanced level: Credit and portfolio coordinator.

Marketing and publicity

● Basic level: Promotion and marketing manager.
● Intermediate level: Sales executive.
● Advanced level: Marketing and sales coordinator.

If you are applying for an intermediate or advanced level, you will have to take an entrance exam, which will validate your level of knowledge. If you do not pass the exam, you will be able to take the level prior to the one initially selected by the applicant.

The requirements to register are very simple:
1. You must be over 18 years old (there is no age limit)
2. Be a high school graduate, graduated from a public or private school.
3. Residing in the city of Bogotá.
