Although the purchase of Activision-Blizzard by Microsoft has not yet been completed due to appeals from companies like Sony that see how they lose exclusivities and their main competitor offers more and more games and services in its Game Pass and other companies, it seems that those of Redmond have not been still and already have signed an agreement with Nintendo to bring Xbox Games to the Nintendo Switch and other platforms of the Japanese company.




Specifically, the agreement signed by both companies it will last for a minimum of 10 years and will bring games like Call of Duty to the Nintendo Switch. The game will come with the same content and functions as on other platforms such as PC, Xbox or PlayStation.

Therefore, it seems that the purchase of Activision-Blizzard will be a breath of fresh air for the market and, unlike until now, where Sony had a certain exclusivity and preference in early releases and franchise content such as COD, these games will become available to more users and platforms on equal terms. After all, Microsoft has long opted to bring its services to all types of platforms, both its software and the games of its divisions, even if that means offering them to the competition.
