Activision has acknowledged that it is investigating various failures recorded in the first available beta of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, available to some players since last Friday, August 30, which has arrived with stability problems in the main menu of the title or distribution of malicious accounts.
This video game was presented at the annual Xbox Games Showcase 2024 event and it was Microsoft Gaming’s head, Phil Spencer, who confirmed that it would officially arrive on October 25 of this year for Xbox consoles and PC. It will also be available from launch day with the Game Pass subscription.
Before its publication, the video game developer has made available to those interested a Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta testavailable since August 30 for players who have purchased the game (either digitally or physically) until this Wednesday. Starting this Friday, however, this trial will be offered to everyone and on all platforms, until Monday, September 9.
Some of the features that this beta incorporates include the option of omnimovement, to jump and run in all directions, as well as rewards, maps, skins, player cards and other add-ons.
Users who have been able to access this first pass of the game have reported a series of problems through social networks like X (formerly Twitter), such as errors when installing the beta, problems accessing rewards or others related to the audio volume, which the developer itself has recognized on platforms such as X and Trello.
Activision has acknowledged on its official X account that it is investigating the origin of these errors and how to fix them. It has also warned that its anti-cheat team Ricochet “is working proactively to delete illicit accounts and engaged across all platforms” on which the game is available.
“The team will continue to make adjustments to reduce the issues players have experienced while maintaining its commitment to eliminating to the cheaters“, the developer pointed out.
