Call of Duty has received several criticisms in recent days due to its most recent collaborations, as fans consider that the saga has lost part of its essence by following in the footsteps of popular games such as Fortnite: Battle Royale and others.
Despite this, Activision will not change its strategy and already has more unexpected crossovers planned for its successful franchise. In fact, the company confirmed this week a collaboration with the WWEso several surprises for wrestling fans are coming.

When will the event start? Call of Duty and WWE?
Activision surprised fans of its franchise with a post on social media. It is a teaser trailer that shows a wrestling ring and several silhouettes of fighters who will surely join the saga with special skins.
This collaboration is planned for the start of the Season 5which is just around the corner. Activision confirmed that the new stage of its franchise and the collaboration with WWE will arrive next month. July 24th. So it will be available in less than 2 weeks.
As has been the case in recent seasons, thematic content is expected to be available for Modern Warfare III, Warzone and Warzone MobileFor now, the studio has not confirmed what content they will offer to players.
Fans are hoping to see popular WWE wrestlers become Operators or for the shooter’s characters to receive cosmetic content based on popular World Wrestling Entertainment wrestlers.
