In 2024, CAF approved an equity investment of up to USD 25 million in the fund Vinci Credit Infra Institutional FI-Infra RF. The investment aims to support infrastructure projects within Brazil through senior debt. The Fund will invest in investment projects in the area of ​​infrastructure, considered priority by the Federal Government of Brazil, in collaboration with BNDES and BNB (the local development banks of Brazil).

The fund has a multi-sector focus on infrastructure, including renewable energy, low-carbon technologies, energy efficiency, greenhouse gas reduction, basic sanitation, urban mobility and logistics, among others. The Fund will prioritize completely new projects, aligned with carbon footprint reduction and with high ESG rigor. (Environmental, social and governance)Additionally, it will invest in sectors that cover the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ensuring that its impact adheres to the United Nations development guidelines.
