The project that gave them recognitionor they developed it in the Policarpa neighborhood, in Cartagena.

There, together with the community, they put into practice the ‘Policarpa’ urban laboratory, which functioned as a pilot for the foundation and the community to build a “solution for the environment”, as stated by Elkin Vargas, CEO of BuroDAP.

Likewise, Vargas added that “this laboratory arose to experiment and that it is not for others to bring a solution, but for the community itself, with its knowledge, to build the solution”.

Thus, all the information on the needs was collected, the people participated in the workshops and then created 3D models of the neighborhood, where sustainable designs are observed on deteriorated areas.

With the power of the image, it is easier for communities to identify solutions”, assured the CEO of BuroDap.

With the award, the foundation has access to online innovation training, a $10,000 fund for new projects, advice in terms of growth and the possibility of a residency at the Meta headquarters in Brazil.
