Esports in Mexico continues to grow, thanks to the enthusiasm of talented and passionate players who call the opportunity of various brands. Such is the case of Burger King, a company that became the new sponsor of Telcel University Esports Mexico.
Through a statement, Burger King confirmed its alliance with Telcel UNIVERSTY Esports México in order to reaffirm its commitment to gaming. Thus, now it will be an official sponsor of a tournament in which more than 150 universities in the country participate.
“For Burger King, this event is very important because it brings us closer to our gamer guests, accompanying them in a fun and delicious moment,” said Miguel Ángel Amézquita, communication manager at Burger King.

In case you don’t know, Telcel UNIVERSY Esports is an interuniversity circuit with the support of more than 150 universities in the country. In it, students can participate in title tournaments such as League of Legends, VALORANT Y Rocket League.
“It is a great joy to have the support of Burger King to continue contributing to the development of the university scene of electronic sports in the country, transmitting through video games values such as respect, integration, sportsmanship and passion for esports,” said Juan Diego Garcia Squetino, director of business development for GGTech Entertainment Americas.
