Bunq plans to increase its workforce by 70% this year, to 730 employees

German neobank Bunq plans to close the remainder of 2024 with a total of 730 employees, which means increasing its global workforce to 730 workers, the entity reported in a statement.

The new hires will take place across all of the company’s offices: Sofia, Istanbul, Munich, Paris, Dublin, Madrid, London and New York, as well as at the company’s headquarters in Amsterdam.

The Spanish team, based in Madrid, is in the middle of a hiring phase and is focused on finding more than 20 new additions to its sales, product and marketing teams.

At a global level, the hiring process will focus on strengthening the company’s commercial capabilities and seeking employees to consolidate its global presence and strengthen its international expansion.
