The aid would take the form of long-term loans on favorable conditions to be disbursed in three tranches conditional on the application of specific policy measures, pending agreement between Brussels and Amman in a Memorandum of Understanding.
These types of agreements usually include reforms related to economic governance, public financial management and tax administration, as well as social policy and labor market measures and measures to combat fraud, corruption and money laundering.
