Buruaga announces that the Conference of Presidents will be in Cantabria “at the beginning of December”
The president of Cantabria, María José Sáenz de Buruaga, announced this Friday that the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has informed her that he intends to convene the Conference of Presidents “at the beginning of December” and that Cantabria will be the community that welcome her.
This was stated by Buruaga during a press conference at the Moncloa Palace after meeting with Sánchez in the round of contacts with all the regional presidents prior to the Conference of Presidents itself. According to Buruaga, Sánchez has told her that the “priority objective” of the meeting will be “housing policies”, but the PP baroness has insisted that her party wants the financing reform to also be introduced on the agenda.
As expressed last week by the presidents of Galicia, Alfonso Rueda, and of Andalusia, Juan Manuel Moreno, Buruaga has also said that it would be “better” for the autonomous communities if the Government were able to approve the General State Budgets for 2025.
