Sémper compares the Spanish government to the Venezuelan regime: “We would like it to be more like our European partners”
The spokesperson for the Popular Party, Borja Sémper, stated this Friday on the Ser channel that he shares the comparison of the Government of Spain with the regime of Venezuela, Cuba or Nicaragua. “We would prefer that the Government be much more similar to our European partners than to the attitudes and ways of functioning of others,” said the popular spokesperson.
“With everything that is happening, this does not resemble European democracies, what is happening in Spain is unprecedented,” said Sémper, who stressed that he “never” would have “imagined a Government that points to journalists, judges and that, when faced with cases of corruption, their response is ‘fachosfera’.” “It is dangerous that we are all extreme right, the meaning and value of words in Spanish politics has been emptied,” the PP spokesperson concluded.
