Iglesias reproaches Sánchez for prioritizing Sumar more than the “victims” of Errejón, whose complaints “were discussed”

The former vice president of the Government and former leader of Podemos, Pablo Iglesias, has reproached the head of the Executive, Pedro Sánchez, for “remembering more” on social networks about his partner Sumar than about the “victims” of former deputy Íñigo Errejón, while at the same time has pointed out that in Madrid there was already talk of another complaint for a sexist attack by the former parliamentary spokesperson.

Iglesias recalled that there was already a message that circulated a year ago in which “a young woman reported an attack at a party in Castellón” by Errejón. “This was talked about, but there were many victims who did not find a safe space to report,” Iglesias stressed in statements on the TVE program ’59 seconds’, where he noted that he is not happy about what happened.

“I had neither a good personal nor a political opinion of Errejón and it has been more than five years since we spoke or shared environments, but he was my friend and I am not happy that he had such a sinister end,” he said. “It is true that I have not dealt with him for more than five years, I had heard things especially after the last year, but when I met him it was not like that,” said Iglesias.
