Brazil invites Vietnamese companies to participate in the International Coffee Week

Representatives of the administration of the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais invited Vietnamese companies to participate in the International Coffee Week, from November 16 to 18, and in the Security and Defense Exhibition, scheduled for November in the city of Belo Horizonte.

The invitation was made during a working session with the Vietnamese ambassador to Brazil, Phạm Thị Kim Hoa, who made a working visit to the state from September 11 to 15.

During the visit, Hoa paid a courtesy visit to the President of the Legislative Assembly of Minas Gerais, Agustinho Patrus, during which both parties agreed to continue working closely to promote trade in coffee and other key products of the two countries.

The ambassador also received a medal of honor in recognition of her contribution to strengthening ties with the state of Minas Gerais. The award ceremony was held in the city of Diamantina, hometown of the late Brazilian President Juscelino Kubitschek, on the occasion of his 120th birthday.

India-Brazil partnership strengthens

On the occasion, Hoa also received an award presented by the Minas Gerais Tourism Newspaper in honor of his efforts to introduce Vietnam tourism.

The invitation was made during a working session with the Vietnamese ambassador to Brazil, Phạm Thị Kim Hoa, who made a working visit to the state from September 11 to 15.

On behalf of the Vietnamese government, Hoa presented a decision appointing João Alexandre Honorary Consul General of Vietnam in the states of Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo, making him the first to hold this position in Brazil.

As director of the Juscelino Kubitschek Institute of Political and Socioeconomic Studies, he was credited with promoting multifaceted ties between Vietnam and Brazil, especially by naming a major Minas Gerais highway, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, part of the renowned Pampulha Modern Complex. by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2016.
