Bose announces its TWS QuietComfort Earbuds II with ANC

BOSE, the well-known manufacturer of audio solutions, has announced its new headphones BOSE QuietComfort Earbuds II. These are TWS in-EAR models with wireless connectivity and a small size. They have an active noise cancellation or ANC system, in addition to CustomTune technologies that allow you to adjust the calibration and equalization through a sample sound.

For ANC and calls, we have four microphones distributed around the earpiece. They are charged via USB-C through the transport box, which also offers a battery to charge them on the go as usual in this type of device.

They promise 6 hours of autonomy in the headphones, and up to 18 extra hours with the transport and charging case. For connectivity they have Bluetooth 5.3.

The company has not revealed which SoC they integrate, but everything seems to indicate that we will have the Qualcomm Sound S5 inside with the Snapdragon Sound platform that allows lossless audio transmission. Not surprisingly, both companies announced a strategic alliance to incorporate these chips into BOSE headphones and audio devices at IFA 2022.

Their launch price will be $299 when they hit the market on September 15, although they can be reserved on the company’s website starting today.
