The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Policy, Josep Borrell, has said he shares the relief of the families of the four hostages rescued during an operation carried out this Saturday by the Israeli Army in the Nuseirat refugee camp, in the center of the Gaza Strip.
“Noa Argamani, Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov and Shlomi Ziv are free and safe today. We share the relief of their families and call for the release of all remaining hostages,” he stressed in a message posted on the social network X.
Likewise, he has condemned the “massacre” of Palestinian civilians after a wave of Israeli attacks against several areas of central Gaza, mainly the Nuseirat refugee camp, the scene of the Israeli Army operation that allowed these four hostages to be released.
“The reports from Gaza about another massacre of civilians are appalling. We condemn this in the strongest terms. The bloodbath must end immediately,” Borrell added on his social networks.
Borrell has also referred to the three-stage ‘road map’ presented by the president of the United States, Joe Biden, “to achieve a lasting ceasefire” in the Palestinian enclave, controlled by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas). , “and put an end to the deaths.”
