It seems that there is a lot of interest in entering Bluesky, Jack Dorsey’s social network that comes to face Twitter being basically a clone of the social network of which he was the founderand it is that according to what we can read in gizmodoit seems that there are users on eBay selling invitations to this social network for prices that exceed $100.
As we read in the source, there are sellers who have already sold dozens of invitations to the social network, with one of them mentioning that he remembers buying a Gmail invitation 20 years ago, and he thought he could do the same with the invitations to Bluesky.
In general, it seems that Bluesky is limiting the entry of users to the social network to increase interest in it based on an artificial scarcity, but as expected, this has led to a market of paid invitations that in some cases have exceeded 200 dollars, a price considerably higher than the 8 dollars a month that Elon Musk asks for Twitter Blue.
It only remains to be seen if, by the time you can freely enter the social network, it will have been worth having paid such amounts of money.
