Blizzard Diffusion will be able to create NPCs and levels

The interesting thing is that the creative mentions that thanks to these efforts in artificial intelligence, Blizzard will benefit at the development level, since the tool would be able to “generate concept art” basically do some of the creative task that a concept artist would normally do. .

It was also revealed that Blizzard is exploring more opportunities offered by artificial intelligence to take advantage of it in areas such as NPCs, procedurally assisted level design, “voice cloning”, game code, and anti-toxicity.

Blizzard has already been working on artificial intelligence for some time. In fact, it is mentioned that some implementations of this technology have been “scrapped” because “the tool takes a lot of the artist’s time to be effective”.
