The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Multiplayer Beta is split across two dates. The first weekend, from August 30 at 7:00 p.m. CET to September 4 at 7:00 p.m. CET, will be Early Access and available to players who pre-ordered the game on any platform (console or PC). Game Pass subscribers (Ultimate, PC, and Console) will also be welcome. Activision notes that this year “we are pleased to announce that the beta will launch on all platforms at the same time.”
The second weekend of the beta will be open to all players on all platforms, and is scheduled to begin on Friday, September 6 at 7:00 p.m. CET and end on Monday, September 9 at 7:00 p.m. CET.
During the Black Ops 6 multiplayer beta, players will be able to test out gameplay additions like multi-directional movement, which allows for “realistic movement and chaining of moves,” across a number of undisclosed maps and modes. It will also be possible to craft loadouts (loadouts) and gain access to a variety of weapons, equipment, and perks. Additionally, players who pre-order the Archive Edition (€109.99) will be able to play as any of the four operators from the Hunters vs. Hunted Operator Pack and try out all five weapons from the Expertise Weapon Collection.
Finally, Activision has announced that it will hold a new Call of Duty: Next event on August 28, where it will offer more information about the multiplayer and Zombies modes, as well as Call of Duty: Warzone. To get your hands on the full game, including the single-player campaign, you’ll have to wait until October 25, when Black Ops 6 will go on sale for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC (Steam). The title will also be available on Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass for Console, and PC Game Pass from day one.
