Microsoft doesn't take its finger off the line and hints at a Black Myth: Wukong deal for PS5

While Black Myth: Wukong continues to reap successes, the controversy does not stop due to its absence in Xbox Series X | S and the lack of clarity regarding the situation as Game Science says one thing and Microsoft goes the other way. In this regard, the spokesperson reaffirmed the idea that there is an agreement between companies, in this case Game Science and Sony: “As we mentioned before, we are very excited about the launch of Black Myth: Wukong on Xbox Series X|S and we are working with Game Science to bring the game to our platforms. Besides, a report of Digital Foundry pointed out this situation, and cited sources who claim that there is indeed a deal between Sony and Game Science: “Respondent journalists have corroborated Sony’s exclusivity angle (and to be clear, we’ve heard the same from sources with good knowledge of the situation), and the fact that Microsoft itself strongly hinted that such a deal exists adds additional weight – all PR statements undergo some degree of legal vetting before they are published. That said, audience reaction has rightly pointed out that if there is a PlayStation deal, Sony is staying very quiet about it. Well, the truth is, exclusivity deals can take many forms, and they don’t necessarily have to include marketing.”

This is the second time Microsoft has hinted at an exclusivity deal for Black Myth: Wukong which favors PS5. The detail is that we are not dealing with rumors, speculation, leaks, it is a spokesperson for the Xbox company who is authorized to make such statements.

Unfortunately, Black Myth: Wukong It still hasn’t come out on Xbox Series X|S and everything remains the same as it started. With Xbox throwing fire at the supposed agreement, and Game Science assuring that they are working on optimizations for the version of the game on Microsoft consoles.
