On the other hand, Biden has announced that the United States and Japan have also promoted a “air missile and defense architecture network” together with Australia, and has reported that the possibility of Tokyo joining the network is currently being “explored.” AUKUS alliance, formed by Washington, Canberra and London.

“The alliance we have with Japan is purely defensive in nature (…) And the things we discussed today enhance our cooperation and are purely about defense and preparedness. It is not directed at any particular nation nor is it a threat for the region,” he added.
