June 9 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The leader of the Jewish Power party (Otzma Yehudit) and Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, announced this Sunday that his party will vote again aligning itself with the coalition led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, after stopping to do so last year. Wednesday.

“In view of what appears to be the rejection of the reckless agreement by Hamas and the expected departure of (Benjamin) Gantz from the Government, Otzma Yehudit will continue voting with the coalition as usual as long as there is no reckless agreement on the table” , the party reported in a statement published by ‘The Times of Israel’.

“We ask that the increase in military pressure (on Hamas) be maintained, which has once again proven to be the only effective tool for the return of our hostages without surrendering,” he added.

Jewish Power stopped voting with the Government parties to try to force the Israeli Prime Minister to reveal more details about the proposed agreement to free the Israeli hostages from Gaza that was presented last week by US President Joe Biden.

Ben Gvir has threatened to leave the Government and withdraw his party’s parliamentary support if an agreement is signed that includes the release of the hostages and the end of the war.
