BBVA Mexico increases its financing to companies by 15%

Small business credit (SMEs) also reported a placement of 88,000 million pesos, which represented a growth of 17.9%.

With its “Banca de Barrio” initiative, the bank added 700,000 customers as well as 100,672 point terminals at the end of June
for sale in shops.

The placement of cards also increased by 18.2% compared to 2021 and housing credit by 12.1%.

Until June, the bank’s customers have made 1,373 million, 27.4% more compared to the same period in 2021. Despite the failures that have been reported in recent months, BBVA Mexico reported that the use of the mobile app was 59% of total operations, seven percentage points more than last year.

Operations at bank windows, ATMs and banking correspondents reported a lower performance compared to last year. Of the more than 1,300 operations carried out by the bank, 31% were at ATMs, 6% at teller windows and 4% at banking correspondents.
