There is no doubt that the weekend’s conversation was opened by Bayonetta’s voice actress after she revealed the real reasons (according to her) why she did not return to bring the character to life in the English version of Bayonetta 3. Well, the accusations against Hideki Kamiya and PlatinumGames had more traction than expected to such an extent that they restricted Kamiya’s Twitter account.

After the confessions came to light in which Taylor confesses that PlatinumGames offered very little money to return as the fan-favorite Umbra witch, the Internet did not stop talking about it.

For much of the day on Twitter, topics such as “Kamiya”, “Nintendo”, “Bayonetta”, “Hellena” and “Platinum” were trending, all related to the controversy of the accusations made by the English actress.

Hideki Kamiya made a massive block on Twitter

Naturally, many fans who supported the actress went to claim Hideki Kamiya, chief creative in charge of Bayonetta 3 and the franchise in general, which true to its custom, blocked all those who do not conform to its rules, including all those who speak in a language other than Japanese.

It is very easy to be blocked by Kamiya, but this day apparently broke records, since the number of complaints he received was incredibly high when the accusations came to light (by the way, it was already midnight in Japan, where Kamiya is headquartered). from PlatinumGames).

The fans soon showed screenshots showing that Kamiya had already blocked them and many others did not hesitate to mention it to speak ill of him or ask him to “pay the voice actors”; whatever the case, the creative ended up blocking them.

In case you missed it: voice actor supported Taylor and lambasted Hideki Kamiya and PlatinumGames for their attitude.

Why did Twitter restrict Hideki Kamiya’s account?

Something interesting is that, apparently, Twitter recorded unusual activity in Hideki Kamiya’s account, so they decided to restrict it.

No details were offered regarding this restriction, but Twitter warns that it is something temporary. Kamiya’s last post, at the time of writing the note, was recorded at 2:20 PM (Mexico City time). Also, you should know that it is possible to see the creative’s tweets, simply, a notice appears as a warning that the content comes from an account with unusual behavior and that the user would very much like to avoid.

As we reported to you, Kamiya not only responded with bans to fans, but also responded to Taylor’s accusations by implying that he was not telling the truth. In case the actress was telling lies, as Kamiya suggested, why would PlatinumGames start with the lies days ago by saying that Taylor could not return as Bayonetta because several projects were on top of her when now Taylor says that the reasons were different?

Definitely, this topic will continue to be talked about and so far it is the word of one against the other, so it will be difficult to discover the truth unless evidence is presented to prove what happened.

It is unknown if PlatinumGames will release a statement addressing the allegations made by Taylor. We will keep you informed.
