Iconic props and costumes from characters including “Harry Potter,” “Batman,” “Spider-Man” and “Captain America” are among the items up for auction on Sunday, the final day of San Diego Comic-Con.
An original USO shield worn by Chris Evans in Marvel’s 2011 “Captain America: The First Avenger” is expected to fetch $10,000. according to Julien’s Auction’s, co-host of the sale.
“The weight and quality of this shield indicate that it was likely used for scenes that required a soft, flexible stunt prop,” the lot’s description reads.
For those looking to save Gotham, an original, unused cowl developed for Christian Bale for Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight” (2008) is also up for auction.
The rubber mask is expected to sell for at least $5,000.
The classic film co-starred the late Heath Ledger, who won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his maniacal portrayal of the Joker.
For Harry (Potter) lovers, there is an original Slytherin robe.
“This type of robe would have been worn by characters in the background of the third and fourth installments of the ‘Harry Potter’ series and features much of the same design as the hero robes worn by the main cast of the films,” says Julien.

Sunday’s event is advertised as “Comic-Con Museum Presents Julien’s Auctions and TCM’s 2024 Spotlight Series: Harry Potter and Other Heroes.”
