The shares of both will cease to be entitled to collect dividends on Monday

Bankinter and Línea Directa will distribute dividends this week to their shareholders, the latter on account of the results for the 2022 financial year.
On the one hand, Bankinter will pay a dividend of 0.06453401 euros gross for each share of the bank on September 28, 2022. It is the second interim dividend of 2022, which is added to the dividend of 0.074 euros gross distributed in June.
On the other hand, Línea Directa will distribute a gross dividend of 0.02050858 euros per share, also on September 28. This payment is added to the first gross dividend of 0.02001319 euros paid in June.
The date on which the shares of both entities will no longer be entitled to collect the announced dividends (ex-date) is this Monday, September 26, 2022.
Bankinter obtained a net profit of 271 million euros between January and June, 10.8% more, excluding the extraordinary capital gain that the bank recorded for the IPO of Línea Directa.
For its part, Línea Directa recorded a net profit of 48.9 million euros in the first half of the year, 15.9% less, mainly affected by the current inflation situation and its impact on the cost of repairs and compensation .
Bankinter’s main shareholders are Cartival, with 23.191% of the capital, director Fernando Masaveu Herrero (5.311%) and Lazard AM (3.032%) and Fidelity International (2.029%).
Bankinter holds a 17.4% financial stake in Línea Directa Aseguradora. The rest (82.6%) was distributed among Bankinter shareholders at the time of the insurer’s IPO. Currently, Cartival owns 19.15%, Fernando Masaveu 5.28%, Lazard AM 3.195% and Invesco 2.487%.
