Bandai, the Japanese giant of entertainment and collectibles, has announced the inauguration of its first official store in SpainBandai Namco Shop, which will open its doors on December 21 in the heart of Madrid, specifically at 116 San Bernardo Street, a space that seeks to become a meeting point for fans of anime, Japanese culture and collectibles.
The arrival of the first Bandai store in Spain reinforces the company’s commitment to connecting with its Spanish fans, offering them a place to breathe the magic of their most beloved brands: from the endearing Tamagotchi or the toys from the legendary Dragon Ball series, through the lines of figures from Banpresto, Ichibankuji, Ichibansho, Megahouse or the Gundam from Tamashii Nations.
In addition, Bandai Namco Shop has the first Gashapon store in Spain, where you can find these toy capsules that are so popular in Japan. A space with more than 200 dispensing machines “to satisfy all collectors, both veterans and new enthusiasts,” the company says in a statement.
“Every corner of the store is designed to surprise and transport visitors to a world full of the characters and universes they love. In this way, we seek to offer not only a unique shopping experience, but also to create a space for worship and pilgrimage. in the capital for all lovers of manga, anime and Japanese culture in general,” the note adds.
To do this, the store will have a space specifically designed for carrying out activities designed to turn each visit into an adventure: exclusive exhibitions, special events, workshops, ‘unboxing’ spaces or live broadcasts.
The opening will take place next December 21with special actions for attendees, such as raffles for exclusive products, Tamagotchi photocall and the opportunity to meet some of the main ‘influencers’ of the anime and collectibles community. In addition, the company has announced that the first visitors “will receive exclusive gifts that will make this day an unforgettable memory.”
