The circular economy is a systemic solution based on three principles driven by design: eliminate waste and pollution, circulate products and materials at their highest value, and regenerate nature. With these characteristics, it offers an opportunity to address global challenges such as climate change, plastic pollution and biodiversity loss, while taking advantage of economic growth opportunities.

(‘We are generating resources with material that is garbage’).

Being a member of the Foundation’s network represents an additional boost to the actions carried out by the financial entity with an environmental, social and governance impact, and will allow both organizations to exchange knowledge and experiences in their circular economy strategies, and will facilitate opportunities to connect with others in the network. The bank has a line of credit for sustainability projects with an exclusive taxonomy for the circular economy and has disbursed $405,000 million.
