Banco de Bogotá and Grupo Aval launch the third edition of Agile Week

Banco de Bogotá and Grupo Aval launched the third edition of Agile Week, an event that takes place from September 2 to 6, bringing together 23 prominent speakers and all the group’s entities: Banco Av Villas, Banco de Occidente, Porvenir and Nexa, among others.

Banco de Bogotá will be the main host of the event. This event aims to strengthen the Aval Group’s capabilities in the agility and innovation of its work teams, through knowledge and the exchange of good practices.

Banco de Bogotá hopes that Agile Week, In its third version, it will reach 6,000 attendees. The exhibitors will focus on five key thematic axes to promote agile culture: innovation, product management, technology, culture and leadership, and organizational agility, All of them are crucial to fostering a positive and sustainable impact in each of the Aval Group entities.

“Agility and innovation are key to the ongoing transformation at Banco de Bogotá and Grupo Aval. We began our digital transformation process more than 7 years ago, and although we have already reaped the rewards in terms of our product and service offerings and our customers’ experience, we still have a long way to go: we will continue to follow this path with the support and development of our human talent,” said César Prado Villegas, president of Banco de Bogotá.

During the event, the president of ADL Digital Lab, Ana Margarita Albir Sarmiento, highlighted the transformation that the Aval Group has experienced over the past five years, adopting new frameworks such as agility and driving innovation.

“Digital transformation is impacting all industries in our country, so the agile work culture has become a fundamental skill for today’s collaborators. The Aval Group, in its digital transformation process, has implemented 43 digitalization cells that allow the origination of financial products and optimize processes to achieve end-to-end digital placement. In addition, it has deployed 4 banking portals and 4 mobile banking platforms, migrating 99% of the functionalities, and has 2 public portals in production. Thanks to this approach, the group has consolidated itself as a benchmark in innovation and agility,” said Ana Margarita Albir Sarmiento, president of ADL Digital Lab.

Throughout the first week of September, high-level speakers will participate, including representatives from Oracle, Stefanini and BCG, who will not only share their perspective, They will also facilitate networking sessions, creating a space for the exchange of ideas and collaboration between attendees. Thus, Agile Week is consolidated as a key space to foster growth, collaboration and the exchange of ideas that will continue to set the course towards a more agile and competitive future for all Grupo Aval entities.
