Who is Banco Azteca accusing?
In the lawsuit, the company points to some accounts and users that have generated “false” content, as they positioned the hashtag #bancoaztecaenquiebra when the information is incorrect, according to the lawsuit. One of the accounts it points to is @catrina_nortena, which made several of these messages go viral.
Other accounts that have been pointed out are the YouTube channel “El Chapucero @NachoRgz”, as well as the Facebook and X accounts of Nacho Rodríguez. These reports include data on the removal of fake accounts and the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies to detect suspicious behavior on their platforms.
It also highlights that both Salinas Pliego and Elon Musk have stressed in the past the importance of freedom of expression and transparency, although from different perspectives and with emphasis on different aspects of the problem. While Salinas focuses on defending his right to express himself without censorship, Musk advocates for a safer and more authentic internet, free from the influence of automated and malicious accounts.
