Balance: disbursements in the Pact for Credit program rose 25.8%

According to the Financial Superintendency, the disbursements made by the financial system, within the framework of the Credit Pact, between September 28 to November 1, 2024, They correspond to 13.4 billion pesos, a figure that represents a growth of 25.8% compared to disbursements a year ago.

In Manufacturing and Energy Transformation, $8 billion have been disbursed, with a growth of 28.2% compared to disbursements a year ago.

In Housing and Infrastructure the figure amounts to $3.1 billion, with a growth of 29.7%.

In Agriculture, $1.7 billion have been disbursed, with a growth of 11.7%.

For its part, in Tourism, disbursements reach $400,000 million, with a growth of 21.5%.

In the Popular Economy, disbursements are $30,000 million, with a decrease of 9.7%.

Between September 6 and November 1, 2024, the disbursements of the Pact correspond to $23.95 billion pesos, which represents compliance of 9.6% of the Pact on the total disbursements that would be $248.6 billion.

Interest rates

The weighted average interest rate for disbursements in the sectors prioritized in the Credit Pact was 15.7%.

According to prioritized sectors, the rates were, for Manufacturing and Energy Transformation, 16.3%, in Housing and Infrastructure, 11.7%, in Agriculture, 17.4%, in Tourism, 24%, and in Popular Economy, 57.6%.

The Monetary Policy Rate of the Bank of the Republic as of November 1st is 9.75%.

Regarding the number of credits and average ticket, 1.9 million disbursements were made; he
number of disbursements in Manufacturing and Energy Transformation was $1.2 million, in Housing and Infrastructure it was 24,000, in Agriculture it was 435,000, in Tourism it was 275,000, in Popular Economy it was 20,000.

The average ticket in Manufacturing was $6.5 million, in Housing and Infrastructure $127.5 million, in Agriculture $4 million, in Tourism $1.4 million, in Popular Economy $1.5 million.

69% of disbursements are made in three geographic areas: Bogotá (30% of disbursements), Antioquia (22%) and Valle (16%).

It is highlighted that in Popular Economy it has another distribution; The main department is Nariño (14%), followed by Cundinamarca (10%) and Huila (7%).

48% of the disbursements are destined for large companies, 9% for medium-sized companies, 7% for small companies, 8% for micro-businesses and 28% for individuals.
