The Ukrainian authorities reported this Thursday that at least two civilians have been killed in the latest attacks carried out by Russian troops against the Kherson and Chernigov regions.

The governor of Kherson, Oleksander Prokudin, has indicated in his Telegram account that a man has died “as a result of the bombardments of the Russian Army against the town of Kizomis” and has qualified that the fatal victim was 59 years old.

Thus, the local authorities have indicated that at least six people have been injured and have denounced that in the last day there have been some 60 bombardments in the area, for which almost 300 missiles have hit.

On the other hand, the Chernigov authorities have indicated that a woman has also died from attacks by Russian troops. The local authorities have indicated that between 10:00 and 11:00 (local time) there was a mortar fire in the town of Hremiachka.

“There is no information on damage to civilian infrastructure, but the attacks have left one dead and several injured,” the Ukrainian Army said in a Telegram message.
