At least two agents injured after a day of violence in Villahermosa, Tabasco, in southeastern Mexico

( Spanish) – The president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, said this Friday that her government is finding out more details about the violent events that occurred this Thursday in Tabasco, a state in the southeast of the country, which left at least two people injured.

The coordinator of Social Communication of Tabasco, Fernando Vázquez, reported that a state police unit was attacked by gunfire and two agents had suffered minor injuries. In another message, he called on the population to remain calm.
