At least three people have died, including two children, in a bombing carried out by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in the West Bank town of Tamun, in the northern part of the Palestinian territory, local sources reported this Wednesday.

The IDF has confirmed this attack, which targeted “a terrorist cell.” Security sources cited by the WAFA agency have indicated that the dead include two children aged nine and ten, as well as a third person aged 23 identified as Adam Jair al Din Ahmed Basharat.

According to this agency, Israeli forces had launched a wide raid in Tamun and the bombing took place in a residential area. The three victims were in the vicinity of their homes, indicate these sources, who have also pointed out that the Israeli forces would have taken the three bodies.
