At least three people have been killed and 25 others injured by overnight Russian missile attacks on a residential area in the city of Krivoy Rog.

The governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region, Serhiy Lisak, has indicated that this is a provisional balance and has added that 19 of the injured have been transferred to hospitals.

Firefighters are putting out the fire that, as indicated, covers 700 square meters and affects the apartments of a five-story building.

“We shot down three cruise missiles, but we also have ‘arrivals’,” the governor announced while indicating that there are “damaged civilian objects” such as a “destroyed five-story building.”

Likewise, it has indicated that there are three hospitalized victims of a warehouse that has been destroyed and where it is likely that there are people under the rubble. The governor has announced “four more injured in another location” where a building and a car have burned.

Initially Lisak had indicated in his Telegram account that there were “deaths and injuries” from a “massive missile attack in Krivói Rog”, without providing a balance of victims. “Another terrorist act by the Russians in the residential sector. At night. Treason. Cruelly,” he denounced, while asking the population not to ignore the alarms because “it continues to be dangerous.”

The head of the Krivóy Rog Regional Administration, Oleksandr Vilkul, has indicated that the emergency services are carrying out firefighting work, as well as search and rescue of survivors.

Vilkul has indicated that there are victims in extremely serious condition and that there are probably people under the rubble, after Russian troops hit “several completely peaceful objects in different parts of the city, including a five-story building.”
