Local sources have confirmed to the Palestinian news agency WAFA about the current toll of victims, who were inside the building at the time of the attack.

On the other hand, the director general of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, has reported that the Kamal Adwan Hospital, in the north of Gaza and besieged by Israeli troops since May 19, has been hit this Tuesday up to four times by bombing, damaging the intensive care unit, reception, administration and the roof.

“Twenty medical staff and thirteen patients remain inside, but efforts are being made to evacuate them. In recent weeks, intense hostilities have reportedly occurred in the vicinity of the hospital, leading to an increase in the influx of patients wounded to the center, already overwhelmed,” he added on his X social network account.

In this sense, he has asked for the protection of patients and workers, who are in the largest health center in operation in the north of the Strip.

The Israeli Army began an offensive against Gaza in response to the attacks carried out on October 7 by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and other Palestinian militias, which left around 1,200 dead and around 240 kidnapped.
