At least three people have been injured, three of them “extremely” seriously, this Saturday in different parts of the Russian region of Belgorod as a result of a drone attack carried out by the Ukrainian Army, according to local authorities.
The governor of Belgorod, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported late in the day the impact of a Ukrainian drone against “a moving car” in the town of Krasny Oktiabr, an incident that has left at least three people injured according to preliminary information.
The injured people are, on the one hand, two women who have been “transferred to hospital number two in Belgorod in extremely serious condition.” The first, “injured by a mine explosive, with traumatic amputation of both legs and multiple penetrating shrapnel wounds”; The second “had mine explosive wounds and a shrapnel wound in the neck,” the governor clarified in a Telegram message.
A third victim has been transferred to the same health center “in extremely serious condition with injuries to the chest, neck and shoulder,” he added, while ensuring that they are being provided with “all necessary assistance.”
Previously, Gladkov himself has reported that two civilians have been injured in another attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on “three more settlements” in the town of Petrovka, as well as two previous attacks in the town of Dvuluchnoi.
These operations have also caused damage to the electrical infrastructure of the affected towns, leaving some of them temporarily without electricity.
These attacks come after the Ukrainian authorities reported this Saturday the death of nine people, as well as a dozen wounded, as a result of a new bombing by the Russian Armed Forces on a hospital in the city of Sumi.
In that city, Russian forces launched a series of attacks on Friday that left four people dead, one of whom was found this Saturday under one of the buildings that were hit by the projectiles.
