At least seven injured in Tel Aviv blast being investigated as drone attack

At least seven people were injured early Friday morning in an explosion in the center of the Israeli city of Tel Aviv that authorities are investigating as a possible drone attack.

“An explosion was heard in the central area of ​​Tel Aviv tonight, the suspicion that it was an aerial object is being investigated,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported on its profile on the social network X.

Army radio, which has reported the death toll, has shared a video in which the sound of the explosion can be heard and the reflection of the impact can be seen. It is worth mentioning that the anti-aircraft sirens were not activated before the explosion.

The Magen David Adom (Red Star of David) emergency service reported that it had taken two people to hospital, a 37-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, who are in a mild condition, fully conscious and with shrapnel wounds to their limbs and shoulder.
