At least seven injured in a shooting in Jerusalem, Israel

At least seven people have been injured, two of them seriously, in a shooting in Jerusalem, early on Sunday.

The emergency services have reported that two people who were seriously injured have received treatment, while another five had mild conditions, according to the newspaper ‘The Times of Israel’.

The victims — six men and one woman — have been taken to hospitals. For his part, the alleged aggressor has fled the scene of the crime.

“A large number of police forces arrived at the scene and began to secure the area, investigating the case and looking for the suspect who fled,” the police said, according to the statements collected by the aforementioned newspaper.
